Thesis title: Democratic Design: Balancing Power Distribution Among Stakeholders
Supervisor: Carmela Cucuzzella

Tatev Yesayan holds a BFA in Design from Concordia University. Her background is in industrial design and public spaces, and her approach is characterized by playful modular structures which allow for disassembly and upgrade. Tatev’s current research interests concern the political dimension of design, and she explores resources and tools for designers that can help them better redistribute power among the stakeholders involved in, or impacted by, design projects.
