Detroit Living Labs is a research-creation project focusing on post industrial cities such as Detroit. Students worked during two winter semesters on studying marginalized or abandoned sites. These public spaces became the infrastructure needed for urban re-invigoration. The projects were all presented to the non-profit organization, Detroit Future City. During these presentations, city architects and city urban planners were invited to critique the project proposals.
